Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree
If your goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree at a college or university, the Associate of Arts is for you. The AA allows you to enjoy small class sizes and more affordable tuition while satisfying the first two years of coursework at a college/university. The AA includes Broward College’s general education curriculum and specific elective credits designed to satisfy the prerequisite requirements for your bachelor’s degree major. Broward College offers a variety of courses to help you appropriately prepare for seamless transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at BC, or your choice of college and university within the state of Florida and beyond.
Associate of Science (A.S.) Degree
Complete 2 years of specialized training designed to enter the workforce in a high-demand career with guaranteed job skills or continue your education by transferring to a bachelor’s program such as Broward College’s BAS degrees
Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) Degree
Broward College offers several bachelor’s degree programs in high-demand career fields that connect students to significant workforce opportunities. Students seeking admission to a BC bachelor’s program must meet certain requirements specific to that degree program.

If you have obtained any certifications or licensures that align with Broward College’s Associate of Science degree program you can earn FREE college credit. Students who have obtained an Industry Certification or licensure must complete the Credit for Prior Learning form (step 2) available on Broward College’s website.

On Campus and Remote Tutoring Available for Computer Science and IT Students
On campus computer lab tutoring and remote tutoring via the CSIT online tutoring website is being offered to students taking Computer Science and Information Technology classes. Register and schedule a tutoring session online. The session may be supplemented with Zoom when a screen share is needed.
